It isn't easy drawing circles with a compass, either the tools aren't right or its me. Still, will continue to explore by hand.

Is there a suitable software to draw these patterns for a printout? Not publishing MS Word... not graphic GIMP...

scheduled scan found 15 infections (Win32/Alman) all in the hidden
system folder_System Volume Information on my data drive. Where did
they come from?

The
anti-virus was successfully installed after a clean installation of
WinXP with WinXPsp3 patch. A professional clean-cut looking interface

Finally,
cause found. When all partitions are set as primary, then the boot flag
must be set on the Window OS partition while the rest set as inactive.

Partition
and then a re-installation from the recovery disk. The windows start up
files kept turning up on the wrong partition. There is a wrong setting
somewhere... it's now nearing dawn.
